APPLICATIONS HAVE CLOSED!!!!!! You are too late: sorry!
Selection of Participants
We would love to take everyone that applies, but unfortunately the format of the workshop only works with a limited number of people. Attendance is primarily by application. ECRs are expected to already have a PhD and at the time of the meeting are within 5 years of having graduated (if not, you can still apply to attend but you will not be eligible for the subsidised cost).
AndiNa's workshops are purpose-built to initiate real debate/dialogue/discussion about science. They thus fill a void left by traditional conferences and workshops. There are no papers describing the participants’ latest results, just full-on debate about the assumptions and limitations of current approaches, crucial questions that we have still not answered, new opportunities for collaborative research and what we need to do to achieve our future goals. By bringing people together in this unique way, we hope to lead the way by publishing our deliberations and initiating new collaborations. For each workshop, 35 participants are invited from around the world, balancing discipline expertise, international representation and gender - as far as is possible given the applicants.
